Cost of a night out on Aruba was created by Chipper
I have never been to Aruba as an adult and I plan to do a lot of sightsee-ing and trips. I can figure out the rough cost of these things but have no idea how much a typical night out on the island will cost. Say dinner at a basic but decent restaurant and several drinks. Any ideas in $? thanks.

It can get quite pricey if you eat out at a decent restaurant every night. I'd say (per person) you'd have to budget around $35-50 per dinner. Having said that there are cheaper places and coupon/other deals if you take the time to do some research. Drinks are not cheap either, beer is around $5-6 dollars from what I remember. I like cocktails and pay upwards of $10. Happy hours are always welcome!

Grace, you are right on the money with those costs. You have to really be prepared to spend some money when you go!

I typically budget around $100 a night for dinner (2 people) and then another $50 to $75 for going to a bar or hitting a casino for a bit. There are definitely cheaper places to get dinner, but even if you're just grabbing a burger I wouldn't plan on spending less than $50 if you're planning on having drinks. Then you need to factor in whatever you plan to do after dinner. If money is a concern, picking up a bottle of wine at a local store and hitting the beach is always an option.

Hey thanks for the information and the thought you all out into helping me out here. I am a little shocked at the prices but it's good to be able to figure a budget. Luckily I'm staying in a place with free breakfast so I'll be able to eat well at the start of the day!

well if you love fish or shrimps it will cost around $ 20.00 to $30.00 alone, that is for the main dish only. But then you will also have salads and appetizers an additional $30.oo , probably the best estimate would be around $50.00 to $100 max per person. i believe that is an affordable price to start with, am i right?
