Aruba has a sunny and dry weather most of the year. Rains are very rare on this island. It is not just a land of cacti, but due to its semi arid climate the local plants have adapted themselves to flourish under the drought like conditions found on the island. Wildlife has found its own way of survival. One may find beautiful flowers, colorful birds and a wonderful sea life. The island of Aruba is a paradise for birdwatchers as this is a home for many local and migratory species. The Divi Divi Tree of Aruba is the national trademark and always points towards southwesterly direction.
