The culture and history of Aruba Island goes as far as the 15th century. The Island is as rich with culture, tradition and history as the beautiful locations. Even before Columbus, there were other visitors who traced some places in Aruba Island. The most common and very important caves of Aruba Island are the proofs of their existence here. Aruba was discovered in 1499 and from then on it has come a long way in taking visitors, sheltering the locals and standing as an exotic tourist attraction.
