I would love to take kite surfing lessons, but I do not want to waste multiple days learning. Does it take a long time to learn or will I be up in the same day?

We wanted to take a trial lesson last vacation. But the first lesson is on the beach. Not in the water. First you have to practice "dry" They said it is too dangerous to go in the water the first time. So first a two hour dry lesson. And then you need lot's of lessons to teach this sport.

But I think it is a great sport.

Good luck

Just a day at the office...
Correct me if I'm wrong. :-)

I consider kite surfing as one of the extreme sports. I would like to try it as well. How much did you spend for the trial lesson, Sunseeker? Was your trainer a professional one? :o

Kite surfing sounds dangerous. How many days would the lesson last, Sunseeker? Did you like the sport now? You really had fun while you were in Aruba, am I right?

Kite surfing would be fun. :D I would like to try this extreme sport. What could be the technique to overcome fear of heights? Sometimes I get tense every time I think I'm up in the air.
