Anything I should look to do the next time I visit the island? I'm usually just a beach bum, but I'd like to try some other things

Why don't you try the casinos? that would be something different. Normally each hotels has casino in Aruba. You might erjoy in betting the stakes while you are out there.

Since you're a beach bum. Have you also tried scuba diving as well in there? There are many good diving spots around the island of Aruba that is really worth seeing you know.

This is a fun idea too. Its costly though.

If you like the beach a lot, scuba diving would be the activity for you. Actually, there are lots of things you could do in the island. Would you like to experience it up in the air or in the mountains? They have a so called "heli trip" which would be something new for us. If you like nature, you should try hiking.

Have you been to a wreck? Scuba diving in one of the wrecks and reefs in Aruba would be very exciting. What about para sailing? You could find some reviews about it in the forum.
