There are so many restaurants on Aruba that it is going to be difficult for you not to find the right meal to suit your taste. There is an incredible variety just waiting for you.

You can choose from Caribean, American, Chinese, Dutch, French, German and of course, Aruban cuisine. But this is only the tip of the iceberg and you will be astonished at just how wide the restaurant variety actually is. So you can try something new or stick with what you know and given the fact that you are surrounded by some of the best scenery in the whole world, you can be assured of a great experience while you dine. You can even look for a local spot that can make food just the way your mom did, it is guaranteed that there is a place like this for you.

Of course given that you are enjoying a holiday or a visit to Aruba, you should try the local cuisine. This is a great part of the local culture and you will see that there is a lot of seafood as part of the local diet. This does of course make sense given that Aruba is an island and surrounded by water. Some of the most interesting ingredients you are likely to see include conch, mahi-mahi and grouper. They are all considered to be the original diet of local fishermen and you can still see that there is an incredible influence on the local market.

The island's restaurants are all open throughout the day and they ensure that you can go and get something great to eat whenever it suits you. You don't need to worry about any dishes and you will be thrilled to hear that there are some great meals available to you.

Restaurant locations are dotted all over the island and you can get a number of different feels when you go to a restaurant. If you want to enjoy the island life then definitely find a location on the beach, but you can also look for something that that is a bit more formal if that is your preference.

There are a number of beach restaurants which you can choose from. They include names such as the Flying Fishbone, Simply Fish and the appropriately named the Old Man and the Sea Restaurant. For those that want to enjoy an experience that is formal then definitely give Ruinas del Mar, Windows on Aruba or Amazing a try. Given the name of the last one, that is definitely one that you have to try.

Most of the venues cater for disabled clientele and most locations do allow for the use of wheelchairs. For those instances when you are not sure, the best advice is to simply call up the restaurant and check that they are able to help.

For those that are vegetarian, you do not have to worry about the feeling that you could be limited, this is most often not the case at all. Given the fact that there is an increasing number of vegetarians, a lot more restaurants provide this service to their clients.

Given that the island of Aruba is famous for its cocktails, you will be pleased to hear that there are many restruants that run a Happy hour promotion. This will see you getting specials on some drinks and often there are also free snacks provided. This is a good way to end another busy day on the island of Aruba.

So go out and enjoy the experience of all the restaurants on Aruba and you can be sure that you will come home feeling well fed.

This is a very interesting information. I have read that restaurants are open through out the day. Has there been any restaurants open for 24 hours? I wonder if they have that.

That's good to know that disabled people are assisted in the restaurants. If we would borrow a wheelchair, would it be free of charge? :) If not, how much would be the additional cost?

The Aruba has lots of great restaurants. I have read that this would be a good place for everybody. An island for kids, family, meat lover and vegetarians. How about the veterans? Can we find a place for them as well?
