Hiking and biking would be a good alternatives. Rather than spending time inside the gym, why not explore the island? Do you like to run? If you do, you can just run or walk in the beach. You could find new friends there.

This is a very good suggestion. Why don't we try mountain climbing instead of spending time inside the gym? These would be good for our body systems. I can't wait to be there.
