I think we shouldn't scared when it comes to sickness. Science would always find a way to developed remedies. Well, for some illnesses only. Was there a recorded malaria outbreak in Aruba?

Because of its tropical climate and its location (surrounded by water) I was wondering if malaria is a problem in Aruba. Malaria is a disease spread by mosquitoes. It's common in places that where the weather is warm and near a large body of water.

I guess this is a very common problem in tropical countries. What should we do to keep ourselves away from this sickness? I don't know much about Malaria. Is it fatal?

Malaria is only fatal when left untreated which usually happens in undeveloped countries. One of the ways to prevent malaria is to reduce contact with mosquitoes. A mosquito net is used. Are mosquito nets a common sight in Aruba?
