Well, I was looking for a nice warm place to go and live in in case I decided to leave the country. I don't think that I'll be of a retiring age when I leave, but that's okay. I hadn't quite settled on Aruba yet.

I've heard that the best thing that a foreigner can do is to get a visa, but those only last so long. Maybe I would have to go through a naturalization process to be able to live there legally and on a long-term basis?

Why not marrying someone from Aruba? That way you'll automatically be a citizen of that country. That's how things would go if you do so. Just becareful.

I'm not married, but what if someone wanting to live in America is already married? I'm sure that marriage isn't the only way. I don't think it's right to marry for the sole reason of becoming a citizen in another country.
