Did you know most of the hotels have their own doctors? I didn't know this but it is comforting to know for someone of my age. They also have a diabetic clinic nearby, if necessary, for diabetics to visit and they need no referral to do so.

Yup. The last time I was there a family that I had gotten rather friendly with had a daughter who came down with pink eye about halfway through the trip. They took her to the hotel doctor and they said he was very nice. The nurse called in the script to a pharmacy and told the parents where to go to pick it up. It was all pretty easy.

That is a nice amenity for hotels to have especially if most of their guests are from other countries. I wonder how much hotel physician's and nurses get paid?

I think these physicians are also working on hospitals and not just stay in the hotels all day. Maybe they have a schedule for their clinic in the hotel and then work on a shift in a hospital.
But its all good if the hotels have their own doctors because the hotel management can always rely on a doctor if there is an emergency.

I would rather know there is a doctor there just in case, than need one and have the closest over 40 miles away. That might just be me though, then again I think like an accident prone person as I am one.

I'm diabetic, and I also have a couple of other issues, so this is very good news to me. I went a long time without traveling because of my fear of something going wrong medically. I'm a little less paranoid now, but it still feels good to know there is a doctor closeby if needed.
