Has anybody ever been married in Aruba? I am getting married there this summer and I can't wait! I know it is going to be just beautiful. And I have to say, I love the fact that the hotel is taking care of just about everything. They are arranging the officiant, flowers, photographer, music, food, even my hair and make up. All I have to do is pick out my wedding dress and get us there!

That's a pretty complete package you found. That's a great idea the hotel had, to provide a complete wedding as a package! It would be romantic to get married that way.

Do you mind answering how much this cost and how you went about finding the deal? My sister in law is about to get hitched herself and they are going to be coming from London, she wants somewhere warm and the guy does not care as long as its within budget. :)

We got married at the court house and have always said for our anniversary one year we wanted to do a recommitment ceremony on an island some where. Sounds like Aruba might be a good place. What hotel are you using?

We're going to be staying and getting married at the Hyatt. We have no guests coming with us so the cost is a lot less than what it would be if we had to pay for a real reception. The cost of everything wedding related is going to be about $2,000, but they can do anything from very basic packages to very sophisticated packages. You could probably save a little money by doing your own hair, maybe foregoing flowers, and not having a photographer.

I did a lot of investigation before choosing the Hyatt and most of the hotels offer similar wedding services. On the websites for the different hotels there is usually something to click on that will give you wedding information :)

:D I am So Jealous! I would have loved to do this. I had a friend who went to Hawaii and did the same.
I hope your special day is amazing, everything you ever dreamed of.
