Tourism is surely a big and lucrative business. Many places, states or even countries rely on their main income on tourism business. Is tourism the only business in Aruba?

I wouldn't say tourism is the only business, but it is certainly the main source of income. That and emeralds. There are of course other businesses there as the residents of the island have needs of their own, but the visitors to Aruba are the ones who bring in the money.

I would assume fishing would be one of their major industries besides tourism and mining. The island is surrounded by rich ground of natural fisheries so I guess they would take advantage of it.
There are many other kinds of businesses in Aruba but without tourism, they won't enjoy the amenities that they currently have now.

Tourism seems to be their main industry but there are of course other businesses there. Tourism itself neccessitates the need for other businesses like telecommunication, taxi services and things of that nature.

Well of course there would be other industries LOL. You would have to have taxi companies, food vendors and other things that were related to the tourist trade. Just think of Orlando, Florida and how much is related to the tourist trade there.

I think animals and animal products along with machinery, electrical and transportation equipment are other big money makers for Aruba. However, I am sure tourism is number one.
