Of course, when you think of Aruba, you think of beautiful sandy beaches and gorgeous water. What is it like though when the weather is bad? Hurricanes, tornadoes, lightening storms, high winds? What is considered bad weather in Aruba?

I hope hurricanes aren't common there. The very word makes me very nervous. I don't even like to think of the possibility of hurricanes happening but I know it's an island.

I've read a lot of posts here now saying that hurricanes and tornadoes are very infrequent in Aruba. I'm not sure why, something about the location of the island.

Hurricanes are infrequent on most singular islands; "the Caribbean" as a whole does get hit each year, but that doesn't mean every island on the chain gets hit.

Hurricanes aren't very common to each island, and can be avoided by not visiting during hurricane season. "Bad weather" may include rain and the occasional thunderstorm, which personally I find romantic to sit inside and admire anyway. :)

It sounds like the weather in Aruba is truly beautiful. No wonder vacationers like to flock to the island. I can handle a little rain. As long as there is no freak snow storm...LOL Only kidding.
