Is Aruba under the earthquake belt (I'm not sure if this is the right term) in the Caribbean? Are the buildings been made to be earthquake proof if ever such calamity will happen. I just hope that it is out of the earthquake belt so we don't have to worry about earthquakes to occur.

I did a Google search of "earthquakes in Aruba" and low and behold there seems to be an earthquake there or near there about every three days. Kind of scary in my opinion.

Well you know even if it wasn't in the earthquake belt earthquakes can happen anywhere. How strong are the earthquakes that they have there? I certainly don't remember hearing about any big quakes there with damage or anything.

I had no idea that Aruba was in the earthquake belt. I am sure that their buildings and structures are built up to an earthquake code though. I wouldn't worry about it too much!

I never heard major damages of buildings and other establishments in Aruba because of earthquake so there's nothing to worry about. In addition, vacationers from other places keep on coming back for holiday vacations. Therefore, Aruba is a safe place for tourists.

I hear that there are earthquakes shaking different areas in Japan everyday, hence they developed technology for earthquake proof construction. And they are fine so far. I never hear major damages of establishments on Aruba either, so I guess if Aruba were within the earthquake belt, they have developed the similar technology as Japanese have.
