Are there any historical museums in Aruba that show artifacts from when the island was first settled? I always love learning about new places and it's history.

I suggest that you check out the Archaeological Museum of Aruba. It's located in Oranjestad, across from the bus station. Aruba was first visited by humans approximately 4500 years ago, and some of the artifacts are said to be over 4000 years old. If you like history this is a must see in my opinion.

Thanks for the information BeachBum!
I'm curious to know if there are religious items in that museum. I'm very interested to see religious icons such as reading materials, figurines, crucifixes and paintings used by ancient people.

While it's not an indoor museum, one of the things I found fascinating about the history of Aruba is to visit some of the cemetaries there. Not that I'm morbid, but they often bury their dead in tombs, etc. "above the ground"; some of them which are quite elaborate and interesting to see.
