Green effort in Aruba

Today environmental issues become one of the most popular issues around the world, and many places start do something necessary to be "greener". Is green effort also encouraged in Aruba?

Of course, efforts are being made to keep and maintain Aruba's green environment. They even have tree planting program. I'm planning to attend the event this coming June 4-10. I heard there will be a Go Green festival hosted by the Aruba International Film Festival. Hoping to learn environmental practices in this event.
