I found some interesting things about casinos in Aruba while looking around online planning my vacation. All casinos in Aruba are not open 24/7 like in Atlantic City or Las Vegas though a few of them are. Many casinos have different hours seasonally and the casinos in Aruba only accept US dollars and all payouts are made in US dollars.

That's a good find Betsy I guess as Americans we tend to think of casinos being open 24/7. I will probably visit a casino or two while I am in Aruba but I don't plan on spending a whole lot of time there.

What do you mean with the casinos only accepting US dollars? Do they not even accept Euro and local currency? But I have no issue with their policy though. It's good also they are not open 24/7.

This is correct. As far as I recall, the majority of the casinos in Aruba close at 2:00 am and open the next day at around noon. I'm not positive, but I think the casinos will also accept the Aruban currency called the "florin" in addition to U.S. currency.
