Laws in Aruba

I think it is so important to make sure you know the laws of any country that you visit. It is the best way to have a fun trip and not put yourself in danger of breaking laws and getting yourself in to trouble.

When searching the laws it is important to know that Aruba is part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. You can also use Dutch resources to help with the research.

In most cases you would be find as long as you don't go out of your way to draw attention to yourself. Things like drinking age, smoking in public or other things that you might not think about are good to check on though. It could really dampen your day to get a ticket for something you didn't know about.

The legal drinking age is 18 in Aruba. If you take your 18 year old and they want to get a drink they will probably get it and you can't do anything to stop it.
