Yes its true that you could not go beyond 30 days unless you applied for an extension. do you happen to know what are the requirements in order to have a visa entry to Aruba? if not i could give you an idea....

so what would we be the initial requirements if you intend to go to Aruba and apply for a tourists visa? I never thought of the details yet until now.
