Hurricanes are just normal for any country, but since Aruba is an island, is it a bit dangerous when a hurricane comes over, how often does Aruba encounter hurricane?

From what I have read, Aruba is an island that is not a part of what is called the hurricane belt. It is far enough south that it very rarely gets hit by hurricanes.

When there are storms, they usually do not get them. But what can happen is that the winds stop. With out the winds it can get really hot there, which can be a little unbearable.
