Be sure to visit the gift shop at the Congregation Beth Israel. They have a small gift shop that has many unique gifts. If the temple is closed you can go to the cantor's house next door and they will open the gift shop for you.
Thanks Beach for the advice. I also like to get unique handmade crafts from the places I visit. What kind of gifts sold in the temple? Are there ceramic crafts in the shop?
