I have thought about this for the family, as the guys would really enjoy being out on a boat. Has anyone been? I am a little skiddish of large boats (no idea why) and trying to get an idea of what size these boats are or if it varies depending on who we book with.

I don't know about a sailing tour, but I do know that they used to have sunset party barge excursions that were a blast. Kind of like a booze cruise with a tad more maturity thrown in If you're a bit nervous on big boats, some good music and a cocktail might be just the thing to loosen you up and help you enjoy it.
