Airports, what is there?

We always pick up last minute things at the airports. You know for the one person you forgot the souvenir for. Grab something in the over priced gift shops.
I wouldn't feel comfortable enough to go out of the airport for a drink, that is why I'm glad the airport has that sort of thing right there.

I'd much rather find souvenirs in town and buy from the locals instead of wasting money at the airport gift shop. Although, I'm glad to hear there is one, I can pick up gum and magazines for the flight. The food court is a necessity at the airport. When there are flight delays, people are going to need to find more than a gift shop candy bar.

:D I'm with you, I like to get my souvenirs from the locals too, but I do almost always end up picking up the ones I forget about at the airport. It's awful, I should have a list and then check it off so I make sure I get them all before getting to the airport.

I haven't been to an international airport where there is no food court. Airports are one the places where I can eat great tasting menus. Although most of the time, the prices in the airports are higher than in local shops.

They are usually more expensive, but they are convenient. You pay for the convenience I think. If I can check in my bags and then grab a bite to eat without worrying about missing the plane, I'm willing to pay extra.
