There is (or is going to be very soon) a casino in the airport. The last time I was there it hadn't been implemented yet, but I heard it was coming. I say go for it :)

To be honest I wouldn't want there to be slots in the airport (unless it was in a room that kids could not go into). I never thought about Vegas. Of course it's there in Vegas.

I think the only place I saw something like that would be in Vegas and it was a short trip. I could swear my friend that lives outside of town now said they no longer have them though.

Well if Aruba gets a casino in their airport you can bet they won't be the only one with them. Next thing you know Vegas will have a casino airport as well!

Gambling is a part of Aruba nightlife, but it's not nearly as big as some other islands I've been to. In the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, St.Maarten, places like that, the casinos are absolutely huge. Most of the casinos I went to in Aruba are much smaller. So basically, if you like to gamble, it's there. If not, it isn't the only big activity in the evenings. And as far as the airport goes, gambling is legal there so I don't see the harm in having some slot machines.

It's good to know that gambling is in Aruba if you like to gamble and want to spend part of your vacation doing so.
I would probably pass on that part. I'm going to Aruba to be outdoors in the gorgeous weather!
