There is one huge thing any person who is going to visit Aruba should know. their customs laws on what can be imported and exported are very strict. For example you can not leave Aruba with more than $800 of duty free goods (retail price). There are lots of other things a person would want to know about the security and custom laws at the airport there.

They are serious about this too. I wore my leather coat to the airport on my way to Aruba. Because it was over the AFL 500 they made me register it with customs before I could leave so that I would not end up having to pay duty for it on the way back.
