Sand treasures on Aruba beaches was created by RoadsofGoldSun
The last time I went to Aruba I found some trinkets in the sand on the beaches. Obviously long forgotten. It was a bit like treasure hunting. I'm thinking with all of the tourism, the beaches must be a virtual trove.

You are right. I have found a few things here and there, not counting natural beach materials. Have you thought about taking a metal detector with you to the beach?

I've thought about it, but I'm not sure if they are legal to use on the beaches. Does anyone know if they are permitted or not?

I don't know if they are permitted or not. But I know there are all sorts of amazing things that wash up on to the shore of beaches in Aruba.

I don't think they are illegal. The key would be whether you can get one past customs if you brought your own. But if you can get one on the island, I think they are fine to use.
