I just got an email from someone which mentioned there is a bus strike on Aruba at the moment. Has anyone else heard about this? Are strikes a common occurence on the island?
I don't know about a current bus strike but there have been strikes by the Public Employees union in the past. There was one a couple of years ago that disrupted the airport and the trash collection.
