When you take kids with you to Aruba, be it offspring or loved ones, do you go for a shared hotel room with two queen beds or two separate hotel rooms?

Ooh, good question. I think there could be a lot of variations on that one. Save money or have adult privacy...I guess it depends on the age of the child.

Once, when my husband was busy at work I accompanied my sister, her husband and their children on vacation, (not to Aruba). I shared a room with the three kiddies and as much as it was a nice vacation I realised how important privacy is! So I would go for different rooms, if the kids are old enough to sleep alone.

I could never share a room with my parents, but I'd be okay with my sister at a push. I know we would be on different schedules and it would be awkward. I'd rather pay more for my own room.
