Aruba and your adult kids feelings

This thread made me smile to myself. I have four grown up children and they fight over 'accompanying' me to Aruba. Despite their claims that this is from concern for my well being we all know it is a front for their love of the island! I tend to be more of a rebel rouser there than them, which makes it even funnier!

My adult kids do not think I should be taking trips to Aruba by myself. I told them that I am very capable of the trip and that I love it. I can understand how they feel about me going so far away but I am in good health. I don't know what to tell them because I will not stop going to Aruba.

They're just conscious on you being in a travel to a distant place by yourself. I think their reactions are natural. If you don't mind, how old are you, by the way?

Don't take your adult kids' prohibition negatively. I think they're just concerned at your health. I suggest to take one of them in your next visit to Aruba. I'm sure, it will be an exciting trip! Isn't this a wise decision?
