What do you think are the best travel safety precautions to Aruba? Every time I got a travel, to familiarize the place and think that I'm a newbie there is one thing that I always thought. Aside from that, anybody who wants to add more suggestions?

Well for me, I always check where would be the nearest police station in the place and save its number. Just in case of emergency. What do you think? ;) Another thing, when you travel you have to be responsible with your things. Don't bring too much and leave the unnecessary ones.

I agree with you, habagat. Saving the hot line number is the best so that whatever will happen you know who to call. Do you think being too much friendly to the people around you could be a good idea? There are some travelers who used to be friendly so that they have someone to talked about.:)

Yes. Never, ever, forget to bring a map of the place along with its emergency numbers and places to seek help when needed. It would also be helpful to have a guide book since not every people and places in tourists spots are really good.

I almost forgot about maps and guide book.:D It is one of the most important things to have. Do you think it would be fine to bring some "self defense" materials whenever we go out?:o
