This sounds like my kind of place. I am a huge steak fan and the bigger they are the better! Can't wait to get down to Aruba and check El Gaucho out.

Omg, my husband would flip for a 22 ounce t-bone, lol. I'll have to check this place out next time we go back. Do they have seafood too?

I'm not sure I could eat a steak that big but I would certainly have a try! At the risk of sounding greedy I like to have some sides with my meat. Does anyone know what they serve with them?

Chipper - I'm with you, I love my "sides". I checked out the website: www.elgaucho-aruba.com/menu/index.html and it says that all dishes are served with potatoes or rice, vegetables, corn on the cob and garlic bread. I have to be honest, though, I love eating more "exotic" foods when I am on an island vacation. I am sure the steaks at El Gaucho are good, but this is all something I can prepare at home. And I also like sitting outdoors, which you can't do here. Just my opinion, but I may pass on this one...

I know what you mean Sunnyside, but when you are single like me it is a lot of trouble to make the steak and all those yummy sides you mentioned just for myself. For me eating here would be a treat even though it's not so different from what I could technically make at home.
